Booking Process

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAVE BOOKED/PAID VIA AN AGENT YOU WILL ENTER THE PROCESS AT THE SELF CHECK IN ONLINE STAGE.

The entire text below is an extract from “THE SMALL PRINT” section of our electronic (site specific) welcome book, containing our terms and conditions and everything else you need to know for your stay. 

The relevant welcome book in full will be available during completion of the Self Check In online form. 

The Self Check In online form will need to be completed (which includes downloading/printing and agreeing to the contents of the relevant welcome book) before we can send out any property access details. 

The Self Check In online form will be made available to you after booking confirmation, either by the agent, or by us/the owners if booking direct, via an online link, and will need to be completed 14 days before your arrival date.

Please keep the agent and/or us updated with any changes to your contact details, so that we know where to send the link to the Self Check In online form. 

If you believe you’ve not received the link for your Self Check In online form by 14 days to go until your arrival, please Be In Touch with us to let us know.

GENERAL GUIDANCE FOR COMPLETING THE ONLINE FORMS…

Please complete each box in sequence from top to bottom to reveal/hide relevant boxes and options. All boxes are mandatory except for “Notes or Special Requests”.

If the form does not submit, please look for red boxes or error messages to help identify where information is incorrect or missing.

If your submission is successful, you will see a message displayed beginning:

“Thank you! Your Booking Form online submission is complete…” etc

 

THE WHOLE PROCESS FROM BOOKING TO ARRIVAL IS AS FOLLOWS…

After a lead guest enquires we endeavour to respond as quickly as we can.

The email subject of the reply will be “Booking Offer” from info@amosholidayhomes.co.uk (please check junk folders) and unless otherwise specified in the email, the validity of prices quoted defaults to 24 hours from the date/time of the email. Our availability is current time (due to other online booking systems). Our price for property rental is only available by booking direct with us. If 24 hours lapses before you decide to book, please quickly contact us again so we can re-check the price. We can only hold a booking with a deposit.

Included in this email will be a link which you will be invited to click on, taking you to our “Booking Form” online with details on how to pay a standard £200 deposit to secure the booking. At the moment we are only able to take booking deposits and final rental payments by bank transfer. Final rental payment must be made by 8 weeks before arrival (further details below, and unless otherwise specified in the “Booking Offer” email).

If you are booking within 8 weeks of arrival (unless otherwise specified in the “Booking Offer” email), or just prefer to pay all upfront, you must still complete the Booking Form first please (your details are required). You don’t have to wait for an email confirmation from us after completing it confirming your deposit has been received, you can skip paying the deposit on the Booking Form; instead please pay it as part of the Final Payment.

If you are making a last minute booking within 14 days of arrival, please do the same as directly above but remember to complete the “Self Check In” online form as soon as we have replied confirming your payment with the “Self Check In” online form link. 

Booking Form online completion:

  • First we ask you to read “The Small Print” below the Booking Form in its entirety. A copy of this can be viewed here – The Small Print
  • Pay the £200 deposit using the bank details provided on the Booking Form
  • Complete and submit the Booking Form

 

 

Confirmation of Booking:

Once we’ve checked your details and confirmed any payments (please be aware that this may take several business days), we’ll reply by email. The email subject will be “Booking Confirmation”. Included will be a copy of the information you provided for your records, a link to “The Small Print” and a link to the “Final Payment” online form. (If you are booking within 8 weeks or paying upfront, please do not wait for the “Booking Confirmation” email, please complete the payment and submit the “Final Payment” form then wait for the “Final Payment Confirmed” email.

 

 

Final Payment online completion:

  • Please ensure you complete the Final Payment form and full rental payment by 8 weeks (standard) before arrival at the latest (unless otherwise specified in the “Booking Offer” email). Your booking is not secured until at least a £200 deposit has been received by Amos Holiday Homes.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS CAN BE SELECTED AND PRE-PAID DURING FINAL PAYMENT OR SELF CHECK IN ONLINE…

PETS:

Pets must be pre-arranged and pre-paid (only allowed in specific units) at £49 each.

Please pay for pets via bank transfer during Final Payment, or at the latest during Self Check In online. 

 

WIFI AND EXTRA LOGS:

WIFI at Ramshorn Estate is £5 per night (price included in School House but optional at Ramshorn Estate)

Extra logs at Ramshorn Estate are £5 per night (sufficient logs at School House are included, one starter basket at Ramshorn Estate is included)

If applicable and selected below in the form, payment for WIFI and Extra logs should be made by bank transfer either during Final Payment or during Self Check In online please.

We appreciate that you might not know until you arrive whether or not you would like WIFI or Extra logs, so these can be made by PayPal (we can check this quicker than a bank transfer), or correct cash once you have arrived, as detailed in your welcome book, but please note that due to no staff being onsite at fixed times, requests for these may not be dealt with immediately.

WIFI is dealt with remotely by email/SMS via management (staff on site can take correct amounts of cash and notify management but cannot arrange WIFI access directly).

Extra logs can be arranged by email/SMS via management and via staff on site, but can only be delivered when staff are due to be onsite for daily maintenance of hot tubs, usually early mornings. They cannot make an unplanned journey to the site sorry unless in the event of urgency/emergency, so please make requests for Extra logs at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.

 

 

 

Confirmation of Final Payment:

Once we’ve checked your details and confirmed any payments (please be aware that this may take several business days), we’ll reply by email. The email subject will be “Final Payment Confirmed”. Included will be a copy of the information you provided for your records and a link to “Self Check In”. 

  • Please retain this email “Final Payment Confirmed” for your “Self Check In” online later…

 

 

Self Check In online completion:

IF YOU HAVE BOOKED VIA AN AGENT YOU ENTER THE PROCESS HERE AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE LINK TO SELF CHECK IN ONLINE WITH YOUR AGENT CONFIRMATION. If not please Be In Touch with us.

If you have booked direct with us, the link to Self Check In online should be in your email “Final Payment Confirmed” 

This stage looks similar to the previous online forms but all guests, whether they have booked via an agent or direct with us, are asked to complete this in order to receive the vital and informative welcome book, access codes and helps ensure that all contact details are correct in the days leading up to arrival. More details regarding why and how will be given at the time of self check in online

  • Please ensure you complete the “Self Check In” online form at 14 days before arrival.

 (Optional extra payments, if applicable, for Pets, WIFI and Extra logs can be made at this stage)

 

 

 

Confirmation of Self Check In online:

  • Once we’ve checked your details and confirmed any payments (please be aware that this may take several business days), we’ll reply by email with a copy of the information you provided for your records and your access codes.

 

 

WE AIM TO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE EVERYTHING AND SEND YOUR ACCESS CODES TO YOU BY 7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL…

Therefore, your assistance in completing this process completely and on time would be very much appreciated please and is mutually beneficial…

Doing so will avoid us having to chase the lead guest, will provide the lead guest with all the information they need including access, property details/instructions, local information, and will avoid any hiccups on arrival.
